Terms & Conditions

1. This competition (the “Competition”) is organised by Lakeland Dairies Food Service, a company incorporated in the Republic of Ireland (Company Reg. No: 5924R) whose registered address is Dublin Road, Killygarry, Cavan, Ireland. (the “Promoter”).

2. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of Lakeland Dairies Foodservice shall be final, and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into between Lakeland Dairies Foodservice and Competition entrants.

3. To participate in this Competition, individuals must be bona fide chefs, bakers, caterers or foodservice operators resident in United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland, and aged 18 or over at the time of entry, excluding employees of the Promoter or any group, company, subsidiary or subcontractor of the Promoter or anyone professionally connected with the Competition.

4. No purchase is necessary. Entry is made by submission of an online entry via the promotional microsite (www.winwithlakelanddairies.com) between 00.01 on 25/03/2024 and 23.59 on 30/04/2024. Entrants must complete all fields including: Name, Postal Address, Email and Mobile.

5. Entry is restricted to one entry per day per email address.

6. Prize draw prizes are limited to one per person.

7. By entering the competition, entrants hereby warrant that all information submitted by them is true, current and complete. Lakeland Dairies Foodservice has the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.

8. Lakeland Dairies Foodservice reserves the right to disqualify any entrant at any time if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.

9. In the event that any entrant is disqualified from the Competition, Lakeland Dairies Foodservice at its sole discretion may decide whether a replacement should be selected. In the event of an entrant being disqualified any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to the Rules.

10. The draw for the main holiday prize and 20 runner up prizes of cases of Lakeland Dairies products will take place on 03/05/2024 and the winners will be notified by email or text within 5 days of the draw.

11. Two attempts to contact the main prize winner will be made, after which a new winner will be drawn. The winner must respond to the promoter within 7 days of being contacted. A winner who responds after that period will not be eligible for the prize if a second winner has been contacted.

Prizes

12. Each valid entry into the promotion will receive a free piping bag. Limited to one piping bag per unique email address and subject to availability.

13. There is one main prize which consists of a trip for 2 people to Ireland to visit the home of Lakeland Dairies which includes:

  • Return economy flights, if required - UK / Dublin
  • Return car transfers – Airport / Hotel
  • 2-night stay at Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Cavan
  • Daily breakfast
  • Dinner at Maxwells Grill Room on an evening of their choice
  • 1 × 60-minute spa treatment per person
  • Tasting menu with wine selection at Neven Maguire
  • Access to the health spa, gym & indoor / outdoor hydrotherapy pool
  • ATOL or ABTA protection
  • Half day tour of the Lakeland Dairies’ factory in Cavan
  • Visit to one of the Lakeland Dairies’ Co-operative farms in Northern Ireland

14. There are × 20 runner up prizes of a Lakeland Dairies box containing the following products:

  • 1 × 250g block of Lakeland Dairies Salted Butter
  • 1 × 250g block of Lakeland Dairies Unsalted Butter
  • 1 × Cream Alternative: Millac Gold Single (1 litre)
  • 1 × Lakeland Dairies Real Dairy Single Cream (1 litre)
  • 1 × Lakeland Dairies Dairy Whipping Cream (1 litre)
  • 1 × Cream Alternative: Millac Gold Double (1 litre)

Additional Information for the main prize:

15. The prize does not include any other costs of a personal nature not stated (including spending money), all of which will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest.

16. Holiday prize must be booked and taken by 31/12/24 and excludes travel over Christmas, Easter and all Bank Holidays.

17. Please allow, where possible, a minimum of 4 weeks notice in which to book your prize - please allow more if possible. Once a booking has been confirmed no changes are permitted. If a booking is cancelled no alternative dates will be issued. For the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.

18. All holidays are subject to the terms and conditions of the individual supplier.

19. Once this prize has been issued, the Promoter, shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by (but not limited to) weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, or any other circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter or Travel Companies.

20. There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

21. The winner and their guest must have passports, if required, with at least 6 months validity from the day they return to the UK after the trip.

22. The prize is as described, not transferable, not exchangeable for cash and no cash alternative will be offered in the event that the winner is unable to claim or use the prize for any reason.

23. If the advertised prize is not available for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

24. By entering this Competition, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by the decision of the Promoter in relation to all matters relating to the Competition, whose decision shall be final; no correspondence shall be entered into.

Liability

25. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting the prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

26. Events may occur that render the Competition itself or the awarding or the delivery of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the Competition and the participant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof. Any such variation or amendment will be notified to the prize winner.

Data Protection and Publicity

27. The winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity. By taking part in the Competition, you consent to your name, photographs, audio and/or visual recordings of you, and any comments made by you relating to the prize and Competition experience being used by Lakeland Dairies Foodservice for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without any fee being paid to you.

28. By submitting their personal details, the entrant agrees to Lakeland Dairies Foodservice processing those details in accordance with the terms of the Lakeland Dairies Privacy Policy available from Lakeland Dairies Foodservice website https://lakelanddairies.com/privacy-policy Information, and personal data which is provided by entrants when they enter the competition will be held and used by Lakeland Dairies Foodservice and their suppliers and contractors in order to administer the competition and for marketing and promotional purposes.

29. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent.

30. The winners agree to engage with Lakeland Dairies Foodservice, its PR company and external media to promote the competition upon winning without any fee being paid.

31. By submitting their personal details, the entrant agrees to Lakeland Dairies Foodservice processing those details in accordance with the purposes made known the entrant at the time of entering.

32. Lakeland Dairies Foodservice shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation, any successor legislation or other applicable law.

Jurisdiction

34. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute to them shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
